Our 3rd Annual Against Abuse Inc., Seeds of Change Gala will be held February, 2008. All proceeds go directly toward the establishment of an Against Abuse Inc. Women and Children’s shelter in Maricopa, Arizona.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we were able to raise over $100,000 at the 07 Gala event in February. In addition, we were also fortunate to receive a donation of land upon which to build our shelter! It is our hope you will join us again this year as we continue our quest to build a much needed shelter facility in the City of Maricopa.
As we all know, domestic violence is a problem that is far more common than many of us realize. As a growing community, the City of Maricopa has the rare opportunity to address this important civic responsibility now, at the beginning of our new history.
